About the Founders

Old Vine Texas is a dream endeavor of husband and wife team Erik & Emily Beyer from Mansfield, Texas. One of their passions as a couple is exploring Texas wines. In their discovery of one of the most significant wine regions in the country, they decided to build Old Vine Texas with the goal and intent of sharing this Texas treasure with everyone and encouraging people to visit the different wine regions within the State of Texas.

Old Vine Texas is both a winery, wine bar, and bottle shop, bringing together a curated selection of exceptional Texas wines alongside our own crafted offerings. Our space is designed to create an inviting, approachable experience where guests can explore, taste, and deepen their appreciation for Texas wine.

Erik and Emily have both received certificates for WSET Level 1 and the Texas Wine Ambassador program. They have spent extensive time with the wineries Old Vine Texas is partnered with, building strong relationships and gaining firsthand knowledge of the region. This experience has broadened their understanding of Texas wine, and they are passionate about sharing that knowledge with every guest who walks through the door.

Erik and Emily have a blended family of six kids, ranging from college to elementary school. They are deeply rooted in their community and are committed to supporting family, local connections, and their church.
